He was a Fork Lift Operator for Kroger Food Distribution for many years. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Rodriguez, his children, Alma, Laura, Carlos, and Thomas. A brother and sisters, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services were held May 22, 2016 at Aldine Funeral Chapel with Father Rafael Villareal officiating. Presentation of the National Colors and rendering of Taps was provided by the United States Marine Corps.
